Brickyard Burgers & Brews

OUR
STORY

Some stories start with a plan — ours started with a bike ride.

Dan and Tanya

As avid riders, we've spent countless miles on the Raccoon River Valley Trail, enjoying everything that makes it special: the scenery, the pace, and the people you meet along the way. In fact, one of our very first dates was a ride that led us right here to Brickyard Burgers & Brews. Even then, there was something about this place that stuck with us.

So when the opportunity came up to purchase the restaurant, it felt like more than just a business decision — it felt like coming full circle. We were excited (and a little nervous) to become part of the trail and the Adel community that we already loved.

Since then, the journey has been even better than we imagined.

We've learned so much about the biking community — the stories, the traditions, and the passion that brings people back year after year. We've also had the privilege of getting to know the people who make this town what it is. Many of the faces we first met as customers have become familiar, and many of those have become friends.

From hosting and participating in biking events that we now look forward to every season, to being part of local traditions like the Sweet Corn Festival, we've found a deeper connection to this community than we ever expected.

At the end of the day, this place is more than just a stop along the trail. It's a place to gather, refuel, share stories, and create new ones — just like we did on that first ride.

We're grateful to be part of your journey, wherever the trail takes you.
